So we took the girls to San Diego last weekend, kinda for Madison's B-Day. We went to Sea World of course, and then up to LegoLand!! Here are the girls at the beach in La Jolla. The weather was amazing there. The water was great. We didn't want to come home, so we stayed an extra day! I think I would live there if I could afford it. HA HA

Last weekend we headed to Lake Mead for the day. It was beautiful there. The water was like glass, the temp. was bareable. It was a really nice day.

As we were headed to the dock Madison and Kaylee said they wanted to try to wake board. I was a little in shock, everyone was so tired and ready to head home. Anyway Madison did AWESOME! She has never tried this or skiing before. She has always been a water girl. Back in the day she would let "TUFT" carry her or put her on his shoulders while he waked boarded. It was great to see my madie trying something new. At the same time I had to choke back the tears, TUFT wasn't there showing her how to do this. The lake was his playground :). He would be so proud of her. Maybe one day he will get to see her do this.

Madie I just wanted to tell you that I LOVE YOU. You are such a special girl. Thank you for being you. Way To Go!! You can do anything you want to if you try!!

Way To Go E!!! Kaylee is such a Great kid. Madison tried wake boarding first so do you think Kaylee would sit aside and let her little sis show her up? Not a chance! :) She did a Great! Thanks to Shane & Mindi for taking us with them. The girls had a Great time!

Kaylee is pretty good at trying just about anything and everything! I am glad she doesn't take after either of her parents and has the natural ability to succeed in all she does. I LOVE YOU E!! I don't know what I'd do without you! :0)

This past weekend we said goodbye to our little pippin. I found him a good home with my friend Shauna up north. He has 2 other friends to play with at her house. It was sad. I had a hard time thinking about what I was doing as I drove to SLC. But when we got to her house and he seen Holly & Lizzy he was totally fine. I felt good about leaving him, Shauna will give him a good home. She took Kaylee's rabbit Ms. Hops when we moved to St. George. Thanks Shauna!!

1st Day of School

WOW! Where did summer go? I can't believe school has started already. Bryn & Madie were very ready for something to do, so it was just in time.

Brynlee couldn't wait to go to school for the whole day. She insisted on making her lunch, and picked out all her outfits 4 the entire week. I thought I had waited for this day to come for years-when they would all be in school, all day. It was kinda sad. My baby is getting so BIG. I don't know where the last 2 years went. She always told me she would stay 4 years old forever, just for me. :( Madie couldn't wait to see who was in her class this year. She loves her new teacher. And we had to take a picture with the backpacks, because I swear Madie took an hour just to find the right one!

Girls Weekend in Vegas

So last weekend I took Branden to the airport in Vegas. Afterward, I was supposed to hook up with some girlfriends.
Well they flaked out and so I took My Girls.

We stayed at the Rio, which Bryn Loved. Besides all the 40 year old men who always stole the beaded necklaces the dancers threw at us. MEN. ;) I mean really! Here is this little girl waving her hands & arms above her head and the Dummies race her for plastic necklaces. We had to go to this show every hour, on the hour from 7-11 pm two nights in row. Thank Goodness 4 the sweet little shoe shine man who watched this take place, he always gave Bryn her pick of colors when he saw us.

So one of the pools at the Rio had sand around it. The girls thought that was the coolest. So did I until we tried to walk on it without shoes? After we moved our chairs to the edge of the pool. The girls just played all day, made friends, sandcastles, hung with mom. It really was a good time. It was nice to sit the heat of 150 degrees (i swear).
Bryn is a Dork. She loves to be covered in sand? WHY? I think she took most of it with her back to the room too!

I don't know if everyone has heard this song on the radio or not, but my darling Bryn loves the new P.Cat Dolls song "When I Grow Up". In the song they " I want to have groupies", well she thinks it says boobies. I have to hide my face from her cuz I can't keep from Bustin up when she sings. The other bad thing is that the dumb song is Stuck in my head for the rest of the day! And my 6 year old sings she wants to have boobies!! I am a BAD Mom!!!

So the other night at Bunko I was actually in the run for Winning a Prize!!! So on the last round I Totally Tank'd! I was a little bummed but It was a fun game night and we had a good time. When it was time to hand out the prizes, My friend Shannon (Who I have known since I was 12) had scored a few more points then I had so she was one of the Winners. Let me just fill you in that I have played for over 1 1/2 years and I have never WoN cuz I must really stink at the game. HA HA. Any way Shannon seen how excited I was playing so she let me have her pick of the prizes! I thought that SOOOOOOOOOOO Sweet of her that I wanted to share it. The gifts that night were various different clocks, they were all so cute. I got this red one which matched perfectly in my room! I don't know if it is going to stay where I placed it, but I really like it. Thanks Shannon!!

Branden & I Celebrated our 14th Anniversary last week. WoW! We have been together really for 20. Wow! WoW! We went down to Mesquite for a couple of days to hang out by the pool and to do NoTHinG. It was soooo NiCe. My Best Mindi and her husband Shane went out with us. We all needed some time anyway. It went by way to fast. We are looking forward to doing it again very soon. Over the weekend we went to the Parker Family Reunion. This year it was hosted by Dan & Chrissy in Moab, UT. We all had a great time. We went to Arches N.P. where they all went on short hikes. The weather was pretty nice the first few days. Not to HOT and a nice breeze for most of the day. Saturday it started to really heat up so we just hung out out the campground. It is Great we do this every year. It is pretty much the only time when Everyone really tries to be get to together. We always do Christmas at this time because we are all together. The kids love it. They all take turns sleeping over in someones camper or cabin. Here are a few pictures. I will post more later, I have a Ton of laundry to do before Buzz & I head to Mesquite for a few quite days.

BUG BITES

So tonight my girls are telling me that I need to buy some bug spray. I ask WHY? I guess it slipped my mind we are going camping soon. They started talking about how I am ALWAYS getting bug bites. I don't even see bugs around me, but I always have bites? So Bryn tells me that I need some bug spray so I can spray myself before I climb into bed at night because that's where all the bugs are so she says!! HA HA. I'm so glad I have her!! :0)

Yesterday Brynlee's school class was having a penny day, that's where all the kids take 5o pennies and 10-20 items to sell in class. As I was putting her shoes on she asked me if I was for sell? I said no why? She said I had a price sticker on my foot, I guess one had fell off something and I stepped on it. Anyways, she asked me again if I was for sell, I asked why? She replied, cuz if you are then I am going to buy you and keep you forever! I had to just squeeze her and tell her how much I love her. That made my day!!! Sometimes she says the cutest things, other days I want to pull my hair out! :0)

Tonight when I picked up Madie & Bryn from my in-laws, my father in-law had a little story about Bryn. (This kid has a lot of them) :) Anyway, my mother-in-law was talking to Bryn and she called her "Brynster", I guess Bryn had asked her before to not call her that? I have no idea why. Her grandma then apologized and said "Sorry Brynlee, I won't call you that anymore". Bryn replied with "Do I need to get a name tag?". This little girl says some of the funniest things, but she is dead serious. They were also praising her for how good she has been the last few weeks when she responded with "Well it must have been the soup I had the other day at grandma Kimmie's house, but I don't remember the name of it". My father-in-law had to laugh when she came back and told him it was Bean with Bacon soup. He told her that he was going to buy a case of the soup then. Bryn is such a cutie most of the time, but when she wants to push your buttons...Watch Out, cuz she will! :0)

I took a little break. I wish! We took the family to Denver to go see our very good friends Bryan & Dana and the new babies! Audrey & Luke Thiel. We had so much fun. It made me baby hungry.(4 a min.) I don't think Kaylee ever put one down. She loved having her choice of two! Dana is amazing, I can't even imagine going Double time, all the time. She and Bryan seem to have it down. Way 2 Go!! We really enjoyed hanging out with them. Buzz and Bry went to BasketBall Games of course. Always March Madness! The girls and I stayed with Dana.
